Now online: NEMO Webinar on Emotion Design and making museums meaningful

On 17 October 2023, Pepijn Wilbers, Partner and General Director at Studio Louter, facilitated a NEMO Webinar that explained how to make museums meaningful by using Emotion Design to create compelling stories that resonate with diverse audiences.

Upon invitation by NEMO, Studio Louter presented their structured approach called Emotion Design, which aims to evoke meaningful emotions in museum visitors. Have you ever been deeply moved by a film or laughed out loud while reading a novel? Those were probably great stories. These powerful stories have the ability to touch our emotions and leave a lasting impact on us. Similarly, a well-crafted exhibition can achieve the same effect.

In the one-hour NEMO webinar, NEMO Pepijn Wilbers and the participants explored the method in depth and connected it to significant challenges that museums are currently facing. By understanding these, museums can develop and design narratives that truly touch and move visitors and effectively convey messages.
