NEMO is thrilled to share the recording of the launch event of NEMO’s report Digital Learning and Education in Museums: How innovative approaches contribute to the future of digital engagement. The event took place on 27 April during the ALL DIGITAL Weeks 2023.

How can Extended Reality, the Metaverse and AI Chatbots help audiences engage with cultural heritage institutions and the many exciting stories they can tell? How can open access support educational initiatives in the digital realm? These questions and many more are addressed in a recent report by the NEMO Working Group LEM – the Learning Museum. Finding the topic to be of interest to its audience, the ALL DIGITAL Weeks invited NEMO to present some of the main findings in a webinar on 27 April.

In a one-hour webinar, the authors of the report, Kristina Barekyan and Lisa Peter, were in conversation with a panel of experts who were interviewed in the report. They discussed the opportunities and challenges of working on the cutting edge of technology, digital cultural heritage and museum learning.
