Resource to increase trans-inclusion at cultural organisations

Acesso Cultura has published the trans-inclusive rider that aims to assist cultural organisations in welcoming trans colleagues, collaborators or artists  in an inclusive, informed and respectful way.

The rider includes a glossary and is made up of three main sections: Information that the organisation can or must make available to the trans person; Information which the trans person can make available to the organisation that hires them or with which they will collaborate; door policy.

The trans rider was developed by Acesso Cultura with the help of ILGA Portugal, trans colleagues and Acesso Cultura legal adviser.
