The implementation of the EYCH2018 at EU, national, regional and local level was part of the discussions. It touched upon next steps and upcoming meetings as well as the involvement of different EU actors, e.g. the Committee of the Regions.
In focused groups the 1) communication strategy, 2) pooling resources and 3) cooperation at national and European level were discussed with the representatives of the European Commission responsible for this task.
The logo (see picture) and slogan for the European Year of Cultural Heritage were revealed: "Where the past meets the future".
The next meetings for the stakeholders/national coordinators will be:
- 5 December for stakeholders/6 December for national coordinators ahead of the Culture Forum in Milan, Italy
- February or March 2018 in Brussels, Belgium
- June 2018 during the European Cultural Heritage Summit 2018 in Berlin, Germany
- September 2018
