It has become clear that the UK will not be seeking to participate in the next Creative Europe programme, due to start in January 2021. The news was published in the UK Government’s EU negotiation on 27 February 2020.

NEMO regrets to see this development, but continues to encourage its UK members to participate in European cross-border cooperation and invites them to participate at NEMO’s training opportunities and events. Moreover, NEMO has already announced a Training Course that will take place on 3 July at the Salisbury Museum in the UK.

Projects that are funded under the current programme (which runs from 2014 - 2020) are not affected. They will receive funding for their full duration under the terms of the Withdrawal Agreement, including projects that continue after 1 January 2021.
