SHIFT CULTURE seeks new Coordinator for eco‑certification programme

SHIFT CULTURE, a collaboration of European cultural networks and platforms, is seeking a new coordinating organisation to lead its eco‑certification programme from 2027 onwards. NEMO is one of the participating networks and supports the search for a new coordinator to guide the next phase of development.

The SHIFT Eco‑Certification scheme supports cultural organisations in reducing their environmental impact through guideline implementation, expert input, peer learning and independent auditing. After a successful three‑year pilot phase, the programme is now looking for a new coordinating body to continue its consolidation and growth.

The selected organisation will take on responsibilities such as developing the certification guidelines, coordinating annual audits, facilitating peer‑to‑peer learning, onboarding new partners and managing external communication. Applicants should have strong experience in the cultural sector, expertise in eco‑certification and the capacity to manage the scheme both legally and financially.

Interested organisations are invited to submit a proposal outlining their vision for the future of SHIFT CULTURE, including governance, financial modelling, programme development and communication. A three‑year budget overview and evidence of relevant experience are required.
